As you all may be aware, we are literally 1 week out from Cupid’s arrow!
There are so many considerations that go into the perfect Valentine’s Day. The last thing you need to worry about is what to wear, so let me help you. There are few men who do not own a navy blue suit. If you are one of the select few who do not, please give me a call ASAP; we will get you squared away. Instead of spending countless dollars on a limited-use red or floral printed suit, let’s be fiscally responsible in 2019 and use what we have, deal? Deal!
We know that navy and red hues compliment each other exceptionally well, so that was the palette I used for this themed ensemble. The pink striped Steven Land shirt adds visual interest to the standard, navy, double-breasted suit, while the burgundy pocket square and chocolate Moretti shoes serve as the perfect, neutral accessories. Say it with me: subtle is good. This look can be worn on occasions beyond Feb 14th and will still make your partner proud to be on your arm. The best part is all of these items can be purchased at K&G!
There is another focus for this post however:
I want you to understand that I see each post as a conversation with you and, with that in mind, the time has finally come for us to talk about love!
I felt it was too deep to dive into this convo in the first year. We had just met each other, and I didn’t want to scare you off. Now we’re cool, so let’s get to it!
The good news is that divorce rates are down. However, the stats say that Millennials are less inclined than previous generations to get married overall. Hats off to you for being selective! I must say though, it would be helpful to have a standard list of questions for assessing the viability of marriage – or simply a romantic relationship. In the spirit of encouraging these relationships, here are some of the top questions asked by you all when vetting potential significant others:
What is your relationship with God like? (@claudioericka)
Do you believe in Jesus? (@ms.krisnicole)
What is the last thing you prayed about that you recieved? (@the_camile_chronicles)
How is your relationship with your mother/father? (@morganbullock_)
What are your morals/values/guiding principles? (@couvevi)
Are you spiritually prepared to lead our household? (@into.her.own)
Do you use salted or unsalted butter when making a grilled cheese? (@slimjymmy)
