Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr. Shawn Wells.
Shawn was born in Ohio, but very quickly realized that the cold temps of the North were simply not for him. His family moved to Georgia and later Florida to escape the cold, never looking back. In his youth, he was a football player and a wrestler, which sparked his passion for fitness. Leading up to his high school graduation, his mom sat him down, as mothers do, to discuss his plan for his life. They concluded that the military was the right move next. “Honestly, I never thought about modeling. In fact, prior to modeling, I rarely even took selfies.”
His first photo shoot was actually the result of peer pressure. As fate would have it, that shoot went viral and slung Shawn into the spotlight. He went from 70 likes per photo to 7,000 followers a week. There’s hope people!
It’s a rare occurrence, but what’s interesting to me is to see how the person responds beyond that moment. I must say, based on his feed and light conversation, Mr. Wells is managing his new popularity well.
Outside of modeling, he’s a full time student, studying supply chain management at Florida State Community College with his post-graduate sights set on acting. Prepare for this man to disrupt the game!

What do you look for in a partner?
I look for someone who is caring. Someone willing to ask about my mental state and willing to build me up when I’m down. If I can’t trust a woman to be there for me when I’m low then I’m not going to be interested long.
What’s something about you that people typically don’t know?
I’m a lowkey intellect. (#humblebrag) When thrown in the middle of a discussion, generally, I can contribute salient points. A lot of people think that I’m stuck up, conceited or unapproachable, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I’m literally the complete opposite.
What are your favorite things to do outside of modeling?
I love exploring new topics and studying different rungs of business, but fitness is my main hobby. I also have a love for animals and relaxation.
If money were no object and you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I think I would go to Greece. It’s filled with an abundance of culture and history. I’ve seen pictures of different parts of the country, and it all looks so beautiful.
What is your perfect date?
My perfect date would be picking each other‘s brain and exploring the similarities and differences between us. This could occur over dinner or while relaxing at home, you’ve got options.
If you had $1 million, what would you do with it?
I would most likely sit on it for a while and find the best investment option for myself. I do have an obsession with cars, so I may get a toy or two haha.
What is a mantra or quote that you live by?
“Don’t grow old wishing that you could live like you’re still young”. There’s no particular person this quote can be attributed to, but it’s more of a lifestyle that I ascribe to myself. I noticed that when I’m in the gym, there are usually a lot of older people staring at me. I used to get aggravated and wonder why they were all looking at me. At some point, it dawned on me that they wished they were young again. They go into this zombie-like trance, wishing they were at that point of life again. What I took away from this experience is to wake up everyday and be thankful for my health and my youth, to do what I can now, and to enjoy it now.
What is your guilty pleasure?
My guilty pleasure is cars! I can’t seem to be focused on one car for too long without wanting another one. If I ever went bankrupt, it’d be because I’m chasing after a new thrill behind the wheel!
