Why is Getting Dressed Such a Process?

I needed to take a moment to show you, my readers, the process that is “Getting Dressed” with The Wkender.

It’s Messy!

It’s time-consuming!

Its complete and utter chaos and a shame that I have to go through this lol!

But you get out what you put in, right?

In this instance, I decided I wanted to wear my Third Degree hoodie, provided by Myles Gibson and the beautiful folks at ThirdDegreeUrban.com, but I had no clue what look to go for. To be honest, I still have no clue which one works best. Leave a comment below and let me know what option is hottest.

For clarity, we were in a studio, but the process is the same at home. Walk into my closet, throw all the options on the bed, try multiple fits on, make a final decision, and leave my room in a disastrous state; only to be surprised when I get home that I have to clean all over again lol.

How did I make the decision:

In this situation, I chose the staple piece first. I knew I wanted to wear the hoodie and I knew the weather would only permit me to do so if I also put on a jacket. So we’ve got layers, Cool!

Black hoodie is not hard to match with, but I wanted to be a bit more creative. This is streetwear so it opens the door for sneakers and jeans which can be an added touch of character. Here goes nothing…

Look 1:

5 outfits, with distinctly different feels and a singular centerpiece. Tell me which one you’d rock, or even better, tell me what you’d do differently.

To a Life Worth Living,

The Wkender.
